- Home values, rents, income and population: U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey 5-year estimates and annual population estimates.
- Property tax rates: New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Taxation, general and effective tax rate tables.
- Schools: district websites and the New Jersey School Performance Reports; private school details from school websites and published school directories. Schools are described by type (independent or private day school), never by religious or cultural affiliation.
- Commute times: NJ Transit, NY Waterway and Rockland Coaches schedules, shown as typical ranges and estimates.
